Rise of nations can you build walls

Imagine that in a game. Thus, stalemates are boring. Open maps, weak or no towers and walls work against stalemates and creates good gameplay. Most importantly it becomes useless when airplane is introduced. But in a earlier age, it does extra protection for the chinese civil player.

Also, you can make it unrepairable or extremely high repairing cost to balance it out. I hope BHG will take this idea before it lanuchs on April. A great wall as a wonder to surround chinese civil player's border would be great. It's a good idea, but how would they represent it in the game?

The human being created civilization not because of a willingness but because of a need to be assimilated into higher orders of structure and meaning. Just realized it today. But the attrition, plus the forts and towers, as well as the ability of generals to 'entrench' your troops in your home territory, really makes walls a moot feature.

Actually, just extra micromanagement at this point. Or would he simply be able to run by them and only take small losses?

Well Lois, I tried finding my creativity like you said. First I tried an art class.. Am I-Am I supposed to draw the penis? Then I tried sculpting.. Am I-Am I supposed to sculpt the penis? Then i tried music.. Am I-Am I supposed to conduct with my penis?

Then I realised that this is it, Lois, my penis belongs on stage! Several people have pointed this out. But as far as I know, supply wagons can prevent the effects of attrition for an army. Therefore, I do think that some type of weak wall would be interesting as an editor object. Players could not build it, but designers could place it down in pre-built towns of custom scenarios.

Then custom scenarios could provide walls for a historical look of medieval towns, and at the same time provide attacking players with enough supply wagons. This is by no means to say "but I want a different gameplay for the basic game". But the more options active fan designers have with the editor, the more variety they might bring about when the game gets older - and that in turn might greatly contribute to the longevity of the game.

This is what kept the online AoE and AoK singleplayer community going for much longer than almost any other game. I'm bringing up this comparison because, to my knowledge, RoN aims at capturing the strong points of the AoE series and combine them with the strengths of Civilization.

Just a suggestion, which might already be in - or not make it in at all. Here's how i dream of it working: You build the Great Wall Wonder as a "construction camp" somewhere in your territory. This is just like any other wonder. However, if you click on this "Construction Camp" you get another option "build great wall. Will there be a rise of nations 2?

Will Rise of Nations work on Windows 10? Which is better Age of Empires or Rise of Nations? How do you end a war in Rise of Nations? How do I fix rise of nations? Is Rise of Nations on Xbox? Can you build walls in Rise of Nations? Is rise of empires based on Age of Empires? How do you capture a country in Rise of Nations? How do you release Puppets Rise of Nations? When did rise of Nations Gold Edition come out?

When did rise of nations come out on Steam? Are there any releasables coming out in rise of Nations? How many units are there in rise of Nations? Destiny 2. When did Rise of Nations come out? Probably was intended to increase range and decrease cost for some units.

Seems to be non-functional. Oddly enough, the description only mentions Barracks. Allows Kremlin Wonder to increase max farm count per city and max workers count in Woodcutter's Camp and Mine. Allows Space Program Wonder to decrease "fuel" techincally it's craft meter consumption for all aircrafts. Was setted in 0 most probably because of a balance reason. This bonus has "preq0" parameter which points what technology provides this bonus "None" value, unlike other unused abilities, which have "Disabled" value.

With the fact this bonus is located right before "Entire map becomes explored" from 6 Science tech most probably it was intended also for using as bonus from 6 Science tech research, but scrapped because "Entire map becomes explored" bonus already reveals evemy borders. Probably it was scrapped because of balance reasons. This bonus was added for Space Program wonder.

Note in Thrones and Patriots add-on added Armed Caravans and Armed Merchants that can shoot at enemies as unique units for Dutch nation. Also later similar ability was realised in Rise of Legends for Vinci caravans. This bonus can be seen four times in rules. It must be leftover from the fourth iteration of Argiculture tech line upgrade raising food production up to Unused bonuses for increasing speed of various processes.

This bonus is repeated three times in file. Looks like it's a scrapped tech line. Tower range bonus was added to Militia line upgrade and Fort range bonus was added to Fortification line upgrade.

Most probably, this upgrade line was scrapped and bonuses from it were reused in other techs to make upgrades more complex, several-in-1 — it's a common and distinctive feature of Rise of Nation upgrades. Rise of Nations has no wall buildings at all, so it indicates that game was supposed to have walls but it was scrapped. These abilities are hidden in craftrules. Some of them can be returned into the game by changing parameter FROM to name of existing units, like "Scout" or "Spy".

Some of them also have unused icons. Functioning ablility. Allows the player to steal resources from enemy cities. Large and Major cities will provide more resources from stealing. Repeating this ability on the same city will bring exponentially less and less resources. No idea why it was scrapped. If used on a city which is already in assimilation progress, will instantly assimilate it. Also captures enemy buildings in player's territory like "Bribe" ability. Probably leftover from previous, forced assimilating system.

Somewhat non-functioning ability. Although it can be added in the unit HUD panel and shows a description, it does nothing at execution. Description says it's general's ability to increase fire rate of nearby units for a short time. Althrough it can be added in the unit HUD panel, it does nothing at execution. There is no description of that ability.
