The challenges change. I currently have coins. You get mo points but it only takes 2 min 2 complete a game. Have fun. I still play Scrabble. WWF is just a game. Not even a competition with free swappa tile. I predict that soon Zynga wil allow you to make up your own words with whatever spelling you want in Words with friends.
I like the old game best, without coins and all the fancy extras that mean nothing to me. It was a fun game to play with friends. Sometimes I won, sometimes I lost, but we were on a level playing field.
Maybe it is generational, but I do not want to earn or buy coins, rewards, or stupid stuff in order to play a fun and simple word game. Can we have a plain version for purists for our phones? Then everyone can choose a version that works best. I feel the same way, Kay. Totally uneven playing field. The home page of a player should have symbols showing which features they are using. You could then avoid those using the cheat options if you wish to do so.
Otherwise totally unfair playing field. How sad that greed gets in the way of honour. I so loved this game and felt delighted when I made a good move or beat a top player. I like it. Swapping out tiles is still risky. It just makes the game more challenging because more people have more ways they can beat you. I actually like the challenge, in all seriousness. Am I paying for the single swap without losing a turn? How am I accumulating coins? Hi Delores. You accumulate coins by returning to the app every day. And if you play lots of games, they reward you with more coins. And then you can use those coins to buy the Power Ups. What is the deal? Every week you get fewer coins. IT used to be 15, then 10, then with the new WWF2, it was 3, now today its 2!!!! Just found out about these off a player today. I was finding the best possible word every time using my brain yet was still lagging behind them.
Get rid. Game totally pointless otherwise. What is the point of playing a game that is suppose to rely on your brain power allowing the computer to play for you? Legal cheating sucks!! How about a button that you could buy with coins that gives you a finished game as a win without even actually playing?? Legal cheating sucks! If both opponents have the cheats it turns into computer against computer. The player is not even in the equation.
If only one opponent has it it is a shot in the head to the legit player. Legal cheats suck!! Ruined game!! Just got a survey in my email pertaining to wwf. This is what I said after answering the dumbest questions including one that said what is your favorite newly added word to wwf social dictionary and had words like bestie and bff among some others. Please keep up the fight and complaints.
I really love this game but it is so tainted now. Nickmiller yahoo. First of all I have always lived and breathed for this awesome game. First you added the tile bag which pisses me off because I studied so hard and new every letter amount in my head and now everybody knows it by tapping the screen.
You have where you can look where you could have played. She played ditzier down the side because you guys told her a bingo could reach the tw. Is this all to sell coins? Do people really actually purchase these? Any developer should be forced to play the game that they make the rules for and if they do, then they are really unintelligent or greedy people.

I did not have the new features until my phone died and I had to get another. And there were the new features. I have not been using the features because not sure if everyone else have them. I agree with you. This is too much cheating.
And I think most people who play games like this care nothing about coins and badges, etc. Our reward is winning a game and increasing our knowledge and vocabulary by doing so. One of the reasons I love Jeopardy on TV. No extra silliness and fillers. Just quick play testing your knowledge.
You can basically buy wins now. All cheats should be banned including tile bag. These new cheats are even worse, telling you where youncan go and swapping without losing a turn.
Asshole developers should try playing the game they keep making worse. I really liked that feature, but I have just changed phones from an iPhone 5 to a 6 and its disappeared. If only there was a game designer out there somewhere that could resurrect the old, original Scrabble game, we all knew and loved. I for one would be happy to pay a decent price to play that again. I just found out about all this after numerous contacts with support because 7 games with one person not her fault crashing.
Hope they discontinue the use of these new features. I do have the new features. For a while, upon winning I received 10 coins. Later, that number seemed to go down. I am going to stop playing Words with friends and stick with Wordfeud instead. I had the features. Who decides who does or does not get thes features. I want to dump them…any suggestions? I have no idea how Zynga is deciding on who gets the new features…seems very arbitrary to me.
Wtf wwd? That is total BS. I also think this feature should be blocked wen the word is still available on the board. But the other pay features like possible places to play and now the swap without losing a turn???? Very unfortunate to see that ihm. I am pretty pissed about all of these extra features. They are going to lose a lot of longtime players because of these features. They need to rethink their methods of monetizing the app and fast.
I think you are ruining this game for so many people…what is the fun in cheating …are there that many dumb people.. I was just made aware of this new coin, swap and not lose a turn, etc…. The safest time to swap letters is early in the game, when you still have maximum chances to improve your draw. On your second or third turn, it can be smart to swap a few low-percentage consonants for some utility As and Es, by way of getting points on the board.
Remember, your chances for that lucky draw go down as the tiles pile up, so when it comes to swapping tiles go early or go home. This is the next safest time to swap letters and the opposite of the Early Bird rule. Hindsight can become more of an agonizing way to torture yourself than an actual cheat. After you play a word, if you have any Hindsight power-ups and there's a possible play on the board that would have netted you more points, you can use Hindsight to see what the highest scoring word would have been.
Hindsight doesn't take into account whether playing a stronger word would have allowed your opponent to score a Triple Word Play or any other context.
It's fun to do sometimes, other times infuriating, but not really ultimately that useful of a cheat. If you want to use it, simply look for it after you play a word. It's the blue icon in the upper left with glasses. The Word Strength Meter is a lot more than just a lightning bolt or a red exclamation point; it can be a true Words With Friends hack.
It can provide you with both a gauge of how strong your play is, as well as give you a quick way to determine whether or not you're building valid words. If you see a green lightning bolt, you've built a valid word, but if you tap the lightning bolt it will show you how strong a play it is compared to other possibilities on the board.
This is often missed by players, giving you a chance to measure whether or not you can discover a higher-scoring play; again, it doesn't take into account the possibility you're opening up opportunities for your opponent.
If you get a red exclamation mark, it's the game telling you it's not a valid play; but you might have the beginnings of one. Tap the exclamation mark and you'll see if you have any valid words at all, potentially revealing new possibilities if you're part of the way there.
There's some debate as to whether or not this is really cheating, but it's hard to beat a straight-up dictionary. If you're using a tablet version of the app, there's a dictionary built right in.

Measure ad performance. Select basic ads. Create a personalised ads profile. However, swapping tiles also means losing a turn. Another Words With Friends button that is often been used is the shuffle button.
This one is to shuffle tiles on the tile line and get different letter placements. Thus you can get the idea how to create words out of this letters. Press the shuffle button how often you like. Skip your turn and let your opponent play again.
If you or your opponent presses this button three times in a row that one loses. Simply insert the letters you want to generate words for Words With Friends and match the results to a specific situation on the Words With Friends board by using the pattern option. Concede defeat, your opponent wins the game.
